the song at the top of this week's iTune's list is Carly Ray Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe". the song itself is pretty cute, just about a girl trying to flirt with this other guy, but the music video is HILARIOUS. i can't... i mean, she does all of this crazy stuff to get his attention, and the guy turns out to be gay! well, i guess it would be funnier if the guy himself wasn't so good looking., but it was still pretty funny. she's fanning herself at the window, singing to him in the end, and trying to get his attention by washing her car like three feet away from him. i didn't like the song very much before, but after seeing the video, i might have fallen in love with it - and Carly.

This song to me is a little ridiculous, but my opinion doesn't really matter because it's #1 on the charts. I just don't think this song is as catchy and lovable as everyone else does. But I still love your blog, and I love how you comment on all the top music, whether I like it or not :-)
ReplyDeleteNow i remember listening to this song back in winter break where no one knew this song, now this song became well known. Honestly to me it's just another social media attention like Rebecca Black with Friday. Seems like now in our generation thats how you become 'famous'. So much of hardworking and success... Now don't get me wrong i like this song but personally i don't think it deserve a type of attention its getting.
